OUR STORY

Ellie & Becky started Outward Hounds in early 2020 as we are both passionate about dog wellbeing. We love nothing more than being out about with your hounds, even when the sun isn’t shining! 

 

Having grown up in Devon, Becky has explored Dartmoor with her family dog, Millie, and has had the chance to discover the beautiful walking spots our county offers. Ellie grew up in the Middle East and has volunteered in animal shelters around the world helping to rehabilitate rescue dogs. She also has a Master's degree in Animal Behaviour. We are both canine first aiders, CPR trained and DBS checked.

Between us both, we have over 10 years of experience working together firsthand with dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes from giant golden retrievers to tiny toy poodles and everything in between.

Our team also consists of our wonderful helpers Nicole, Lillian, Claire, and Jess all of whom are committed to providing the best care for our four-legged friends. We all love getting to know your pups and watching them form new friendships with their playmates. We keep up to date with the most recent research in many aspects of dog care including the best enrichment activities and training games and we try to incorporate this knowledge into our day-to-day running of Outward Hounds.

We know that we all have very busy lives but still want to ensure our dogs are cared for and have the best life that they can have, we can help you provide that for your pup. We want to spoil your four-legged best friends and allow them to live their life to the full!
